I grew up in suburban New York. When I was a young child my parents enrolled me in a neighborhood dance class. In addition to a well rounded technical program my teacher also incorporated improvisation exercises during class. Dance became a passion throughout my school years. As I advanced I studied ballet and toe, several modern dance techniques, jazz, folk and square dance. As a high school senior I earned a scholarship that enabled me to study in New York City.
The skills and knowledge I gained over those years regarding space, balance, and flow now inform my creative process. I also love color and pattern, and these too play an important part as I gather the many pieces that form each creation.
To this creative side I add an MBA in Management Science, CSUEB, that enables me to wear the many hats needed to manage a successful business.
